Welsh Highland Railway

Rob has been wanting to go on the Welsh Highland Railway for ages and he finally got his wish today.
Both Rob and Thom travelled from Porthmadog to Rhyd Ddu, whilst gonzo and myself took photos and drove (that's me doing the driving).
Its always great to see these big locomotives working and not being stuck in a museum.
At Rhyd Ddu we had a wee walk up the path to Snowdon and then back to the car to head to Caernarfon for lunch.
We ended up visiting Beaumaris Castle in Anglesey in the afternoon. It's a great castle and has no pointless interactive stuff, instead you can wander about and shoot arrows at each other.
Finished with some cricket back at the cottage in the sun, before the clouds rolled in.
