AR1785 on a small Sun

The Sun appeared very briefly and late this evening, I just managed to catch it before it disappeared behind houses and trees. As it was so low I was reasonably pleased with the detail in AR1785 on the eastern limb. It is quite a complex group and it will be interesting to see how it develops. Can you also see how small the Sun is looking? On Friday at 3.00pm we will reach Aphelion, the furthest point away from the Sun in our orbit around it. We will be over 94.5 million miles away!
