Koru

Koru is the Māori word for “loop” or “coil” and is based on the unfurling frond of the Silver Fern. Sadly, Silver Ferns are in short supply here in Scotland so I hope you don’t mind my using this example. Probably the most widely seen example of the Koru is the tail logo on Air New Zealand aircraft.
