My day so far...
Hubby couldn't sleep all night so first task this morning don carers hat. He then took a Diazapam & went to bed.
Showered, had breakfast, checked paperwork for hubby's COPD apt at Bovey Tracey surgery at 12.40 today.
Drove down to CK. Mum in a tizzy. Couldn't find underwear. Lost her glasses, 3 places set for breakfast. She's eaten her breakfast.
Found her bras in the laundry basket, knickers in the correct drawer. Found both spectacle cases, 1 pair in with her colouring pencils, tv specs still missing.
Walked Indie.. Message received re - Ongoing misunderstanding over bark, which has really upset me.
Hubby did'nt pick up when I rang him as requested at 11am., so drove back to Chudleigh. He'd cancelled the COPD apt as did'nt feel well enough to attend. They rang him to collect his information re medication. He stayed in bed.
I cleaned out the back of the car. No Dr's apt so I nipped into Newton Abbot to chat with Barclays re Mum's finances. Rang Mum told her I would be with her at 1.30pm to make her lunch.
Chat with chap in Local Barclay's which is located in a building in the rear of Newton Abbot library. Got the info I required. Need to make an apt online if I need help with moving Mum's money around.
A quick shop at Asda for fruit & veg then back to Mum's to make her lunch. Barbecued chicken wings, - ( homemade, we had ours last evening), jacket potato, corn on the cob, & coleslaw plus a side salad which Mum put together.
Fed Indie.
Looked for Mum's tv specs, found them on her dressing table. Checked tv working. Electric blanket on correct setting. Front door locked. Left Mum at 2.30pm
Home, hubby sleeping time for peanut butter on toast & a string black coffee.
Since then I've sat and enjoyed the first 2 episodes of Himalaya's with Michael Palin.
