Maggia

Surprise last minute trip to Tessin.
With BIL and SIL it was supposed to a trip for my SIL’s parents, but her father was not so well. We took the train to the Italian border at Domodossola, where we got the Centovalli railway to Ponte Brolla on the Maggia river. The weather was awful in the north of Switzerland and beautiful in the south. The rock pools in the river were such a beautiful turquoise green. We had a nice walk along the river, and a glass of wine out in the sun. Dinner at the hotel was delicious.
