Inverleith pond

In sunshine, light shower and wind from the North notwithstanding. There's a heron in the foreground. Only two swans, at the other end of the pond; they were both splashing and rolling and preening energetically, but at 20m distance from each other.

The ground is drying so that paths we've avoided for months are no longer mostly mud. Elsewhere on blip I saw both snow on the hills and spring ploughing.
