After a wet start, the cloud cleared to give us a warm and sunny evening.

I made my debut for the Thursday team in the Clwyd League and played at number nine which meant that I didn't get on the green until 7:00 pm. By this time, part of the green was in shadow and in places the bowls were picking up moisture and slowing down. I lost 15-21 to Dean from Grove Park A and our team lost 3-9.
