Heading towards winter

Only image I took today looking West from my terrace. The last autumn leaves against the backdrop of the first winter snow on the distant mountains
Was having a relaxed day getting on with jobs around home when I got a phone call to see whether I had forgotten I had agreed to do an afternoon shift at the railway. What a mad dash.  Left behind a real muddle as had decided to make macaroni cheese for lunch and of course a few pottles for the freezer
Alls well that ends well , pottles in the freezer and bench all cleaned up
