Flower Friday

Clematis montana... it is still finding a few flowers to open at this end of the house.. the first lot are over now but it hasn't been spectacular or particularly scented owing to the chill in the air I think. Also it is getting pretty old this plant (it once featured in a photo inside Country Life) and has seen more vigour in the past.. we inherited it 30 years ago so they are certainly long lived and go on giving even in lesser amounts.
