Domani

The last of the annual leave days and I put it to good use.

A pedal out back and then a solo trip to The Cameo for the 11:15 screening of The Teachers' Lounge. Morning cinema, can't beat it - plus a sunny walk there and back along the canal.

And then the regular Friday matinee with my partner - There's Still Tomorrow at the local multiplex. A nice big screen with only about half a dozen of us in there, two of whom left a few minutes in when the Italian dialogue started. It's set in Rome in 1946, it's shot in sumptuous black and white, and it's really rather well-done, and really quite moving. Big thumbs-up.

But for now....the eldest girl has just arrived home from university for the weekend, and the takeaway is here too. Be rude to let it go cold now.
