The Ulster National

The Ulster National was run at Downpatrick racecourse this evening - the race had been postponed from the original date earlier in the month because the course was waterlogged after all the rain. Although the actual day of the race was sunny and dry, the course had not dried out sufficiently for racing. It was a great day for racing today, again dry and sunny if a bit chilly in the breeze. Unfortunately we had no winners at all!
