Archetype: the original pattern or model

The chairs look like leather but are plastic. They are comfortable. In the far corner two men are talking about golf. They work in sales for mid-sized companies which sell something nobody cares about. The bar is stocked with gin and whisky, including some uninteresting single malts. The woman behind the bar is young and pretty: the men make whispered comments about her body which they know she can hear. Outside, people walk, pretending to each other that the world is not ending.
