A little stroll along Hareshaw Linn took us past the remains of the dam which provided water for the iron works with two blast furnaces, coke ovens, a blacksmiths, wagon shed etc. now all gone. Just into the woods was a deer. In the background is a glimpse of Bellingham golf club.
