Sammy at Copland's Pier

A breezy day, chilly in the wind.  Mostly sunny, but there was showers passing over at times.  A lovely calm evening.

Up early, headed out walkies with Sammy after breakfast.  Washing out this morning, dry by teatime.  Finished off flaying the peat bank, then rained off. Nipped into Lerwick, met mam for lunch and then a walk around the town.  Popped by Madeline's on my way home.  Spent some time in the garden before tea.  Working in the shop this evening, busier as usual.  Think a pint is well deserved tonight.

A lovely day between the showers.  A fine walk along Da Street, met plenty of folk out and about. Just before turning and heading back to the car, a quick stop at the Old Manse, which is possibly the oldest surviving building in Lerwick, dating the 1600s.  Sammy in front of the Manse, at Copland's Pier, Commercial Street, Lerwick.
