Should I shouldn't I?

Tom really fancies learning to play the double bass - but it's an expensive mistake if I buy him one and he changes his mind! We did have a fantastic time in this amazing guitar shop in Leeds where Tom got to play a £2000 Martin acoustic bass and I got to play a D28 which my guitar is a copy of. Actually it felt and sounded a lot like my guitar - well done Arthur Robb who made it for me back in 1986!

Perhaps I should look into hiring a bass for Tom.
