High Contrast?

That's the theme for today's Mono Monday challenge (kindly hosted by Alan R).  I'm not sure this qualifies as it's probably not quite 'high contrast' enough but I didn't want to spoil the beauty of the textures in the petals by upping the contrast too much.  

I walked with A on Cley beach this morning and before we left, she presented me with this tulip that had broken off its stem in her garden, thinking that I might like to photograph it (you know me so well A).

I've put a colour version in extras, as the colour was stunning.
