Sunday Visit

Here we are, about to drive out Gregg & Linda's long driveway, through a pasture, to the main road. They live on such a lovely, old, old farm; it's rather dreamy, but it sure takes up all their time. Then we come along and take up the entire Sunday morning: we're consulting Gregg on how to repair a leaky bay window in our own old, old house. He is a restoration architect/carpenter and has restored a good number of historic buildings in the Willamette Valley. Like the big barn at Champoeg Park and the Lightkeeper's House at Heceta Head Lighthouse.
