Afternoon tea (& coffee)

Busy morning: walked hound, laundry load, cooked hound's food, ironing, bin-emptying, cleaned kitchen floor etc.

Went out for lunch with Giovanna.  The garden centre outside the city was pleasantly uncrowded unlike our nearest one and the cafe was delightful.  Bought some plants and returned for coffee and cake.  Mine was a delicious polenta cake.  

Home about 5pm then walked hound.

It's been a glorious day weather-wise and great to get out of the traffic and construction noisy city.
