The Boathouse Cafe

It has been many weeks since I enjoyed a walk in Rouken Glen Park so after buying weed killer in the garden centre I walked up to the pond. Perfect weather conditions for a stroll pausing at the cafe for a carry out latte.

I'm not sure whether the resident male swan just gave up trying to chase last year's youngsters away but there are at least two possibly three still there. It's a large pond with three islands so there is plenty of room. The foliage is quite dense so I couldn't see if the female swan was sitting on a nest.
