The Sweet Smell of Money?

The pulp and paper industry was one of the main drivers of our provincial economyThe coast had many mills, including the largest in the world in my home town. They were voracious consumers of wood and water, and criminal polluters of air and ocean.
Today this relatively small mill is one of few remaining, yet is still pumping stinky pollution into the coastal air. Mother Nature is praying for an end to the industry’s assault on her.
