Green Carpet

This is a very fresh looking Green Carpet moth caught in the light trap this morning.

Not brown and not dull and boring which is the reputation of moths.

The weather was only a little improved in that it didn't rain so much but the midgies were very bad so you couldn't stay still if you were outside. Good weather for moths in fact!
