Horse Chestnut

This blossom on the Horse Chestnut looks very bedraggled after very heavy overnight rain, but at least we were spared the thunderstorms enjoyed by many. A very cool (cold) day with rarely a glimpse of sunshine until early evening - too little, too late. With a Bank Holiday looming large it's a sure sign that further rain will arrive over the weekend.
