By 9.30am I was up and out in the garden digging out the last of the soil and rubble so that the new base could be laid for the new shed.

By 6.30pm almost everything was finished; soil and rubble dug out, new base laid, new shed built and in position.

My plan for a quick visit to Daisy Nook will have to wait for another day.

Pleased with how today has gone, despite the increased aches that are setting in.
A few scratches and bruises from lugging around soil and rubble, and three blisters. Unfortunately the worst of the blisters - in the middle of my palm - has already burst.

A quick blip of something growing in the garden, and then in a while I'll start watching Breaking Bad on Netflix. Last night watched the documentary about war photographer Don McCullin that was on the BBC iplayer. Well worth a watch.
