It should have been obvious to me that this cocktail was a bad sign. A Cosmo is normally a very happy thing, but this was the third cocktail and I hadn't even cooked dinner.

Anyway, the advantage of getting your guests drunk on cocktails is they'll eat anything and think it's delicious.

Today saw the last day of school panic of forms for next year yet to submit and, of course, presents for teachers. So my day was spent making chocolate truffles. Happily we seem to have a lot of spares to enjoy. (Praline or salt caramel are your choices, if you're in the area.)
