The Three Mustafas

Mustafa Good Food, Mustafa Dress and Mustafa Scarf. Caroline did a great job driving us up into the mountains. The views were amazing with green hills and a few villages dotted around.

There were lots of little village shops selling beautiful clothes made of silk mix, with bright patterned fabrics.

The cheese and wine shop was stacked from floor to ceiling with Serrano hams, cheeses, honey, wine, herbal teas and bells.
We enjoyed Tapas and bought honey and herbs.

Capileira was our next stop for lunch. The restaurant was called El Corral del Castano. It’s was David’s and Caroline’s recommendation and it didn’t disappoint. I had Tinto de Verano with mum and C, it’s know as ‘Red of summer,’ it’s a bit like a sangria. We shared a selection of dishes including Meatballs in a curried almond sauce, a shoulder of lamb, oxtail with caramelised mango, an amazing salad and black pudding.
The vendor presented us with a plate of profiteroles and a shot after we’d paid.
