Badgers

It was my birthday yesterday and Martin got me these badger themed gifts as a surprise. Very fitting as over the last couple of weeks I’ve had a lot of contact with volunteers from Scottish Badgers due to my reporting that someone has been blocking some of our sett entrances. We’ve had to unblock entrances four times over the last ten days or so. One day last week someone filled them in within an hour of the site being visited by the police wildlife crime officer!
I really do not understand why people would actively seek to harm these creatures or wildlife of any kind. Hopefully they will get the message and stop or they will end up being charged by the police if caught.
