Wath Festival

The first Saturday in May signifies the Wath May festival, lots of local groups and events displayed around the market square great fun, with music and dancing over three days.  B and I  enjoyed a poetry trail, and heard poems read from local people and received a little book of their work...so lovely.  Morris dancers and then the Morris minors took centre stage, dancing around the Maypole, the youngest being four years old! Brought raffle tickets and local produce, and later, enjoyed the music sat outside the local micro brewery, enjoying a glass of cider...
