Limbo Lizard

Today we had a walk to North Warren Fen, which is run by the RSPB, but is not as large or spectacular as Minsmere, and without the facilities, so it tends to be much quieter. It does have some special visitors - notably Hobbys at this time of the year. Other highlights included distant view of a Cuckoo and some spectacular views of a Marsh Harrier. It’s a good area for insects too, We saw quite a few butterflies, damsel and dragonflies. Another highlight was lizards, which I always love seeing. The weather has been kind to us so far, and the forecast is good - so fingers crossed.
