The Hovis Street

As it’s a Bank Holiday weekend we thought that the main route back would be very busy so we drive home on a quieter road that took us to Shaftesbury. We had a lovely lunch and then we walked down Gold Hill the hill that they used in the Hovis advert in the 1970s when a boy cycled down the hill to deliver bread. As you can see it’s very steep. You can see the view looking up the road in the extra.

We then had a lovely walk around the village before driving home.

I needed to get back as I had choir practice.

After the fun and dancing of the weekend I’m rather tired.
