Laney's birthday?

We rescued Laney from an animal shelter in Oklahoma. We were told that she was between 1 and 1 1/2 years old at that time (October 2013). So we chose May 2012 as her birth month. That makes her 12 years old now!
Tomorrow she has an appointment with the vet because she is having some old lady issues. Ignorance is bliss for Laney.
