Happy 4th of July!

It's strange celebrating holidays outside of my home country. The grocery stores and malls don't have the constant decoration reminders of the next holiday, so if I wasn't attentive to the date, it might pass without me knowing.

This holiday I remembered though. No fireworks or watermelon eating contests, just some ice cream with a friend, taking pictures, and reminiscing 4th of Julys in the past celebrated with barbecues and family.
