Taiwan: Maokong View

The Return to Taiwan sojourn included having to get a 7.57am train from Hualien to Taipei as it was the only train with seats left - two seats in different carriages. It appears we hit the beginning of school holidays, woops!

However, this meant we got back to Taipei in the morning and were able to head up the Maokong Gondola to the tea plantations in the afternoon. Very happy that my favourite 'The Cat's Got Nothing to Do' cafe still exists with that fabulous view of Taipei City.
