Ducklings

We spotted a man from the window, who had shepherded a duck and ducklings away from the main road. They were nowhere near any water. 
We helped catch the ducklings but the mother flew away. We spent a couple of hours out in the rain trying to lure her back and catch her, but no luck.
A wildlife rescue volunteer came and collected them, and took them to a sanctuary. Sad we couldn't keep them together but at least they are safe.
