The Woodland Garden (Monday 6th May 2024)

One beneficiary of taking down the car port last year has been this copper beech, as the roof both hid most of it from view and deprived the lower part of its trunk from sunlight. When I saw it catching the sun, I knew I had to record it in its new glory. Behind it one of the garden's lilacs is also blooming (in Extras).
