I can’t imagine Lion Yard is a safe place for a herd of giraffes, can you? But they’re obviously captivated by what this human is up to. Perhaps he’s the tour guide given the snazzy shorts.

Had a lovely day in Cambridge with a book club friend and saw the NT Live screening of Nye. It’s the life and death of the great Nye Bevan, played by Michael Sheen. There were lots of thought-provoking parallels between today and the 1930s to ‘50s, especially about British politics, poverty/wealth, mining and family connections.
Then home in the sun. Delightful day
