To the tower!

Or should it be to the summerhouse? We visited friends in Kent’s Bank who took us on a walk around Kirkhead fell. Kirkhead Tower is a delightful folly (or summerhouse) built early in the nineteenth century, with great views. The fields below were a stunning carpet of purple and green-winged orchids.
