Early morning shopping

The usual short cut to the Supermarket.
I was surprised to see these trees in the football ground chopped right down.I wonder if they're diseased as I didn't think it was allowed to cut them? I'm wondering if I should now paint the fence.I can't really be bothered but it's a sunny day so best get cracking !!
