Sculthorpe Heritage Centre

This collage is borrowed from yesterday, as some of the garden pics I took today.
We visited this little museum on the old air base. The boys have been before,  but they've now moved to a new premises in the old Chapel and it was the grand opening yesterday. It was a USAF atomic base during the cold war and also includes snippets from the George medals awarded to two US Airman for their part in saving civilians during the great floods of 1953, HRH Queen Elizabeth stuck in Sandrinham at the time. She had a private tour of the old centre in her platinum year. FK was in his element and read every single board of information from start to finish.

MrK and I sat in the garden with tea this morning before taking a little trip to a craft Market at Wells and sitting on the Quay with a sandwich. FK had done a couple of work sessions when we got back.
We tidied and packed up leaving the cottage and the sun, driving back in rain again, after popping into mum to say goodbye. Mrk and I walked to get a curry takeaway which we all fancied for tea tonight.
