Auschwitz & Auschwitz Birkenau

Arrived in Krakow at 1am last night up at 6am and off on a road trip at 7am.
Destination Auschwitz - this has been on my bucket list for a VERY long time.
It was so much more emotional than I thought it would be.
Certain areas you were not allowed to take photos but in others photos were actively encouraged.
For myself the hair of the victims and the children’s clothing and photos were very upsetting and I had to hold back the tears.
What happened there 80+ years ago was horrific.

So glad I made the decision to visit.
