White peony

I think this has been the driest summer since we moved here and we are seeing lots of plants perform better than before.

I'm not certain I've ever seen this peony in full bloom; usually it just curls up into a ball and sulks. This summer it is beautiful, I love the little touches of pink and red. Here's hoping for lots more dry summers.
