Dad's Amazing Monochrome Travelling Coat
Treasure from the attic. The coat that keeps on keeping people warm. It's made of heavy wool with a sheepskin lining.
My father got it when he was a young marine engineer, working on a ship took him to places that were colder than he had ever experienced. I inherited it and wore it occasionally. Mr Eyes wore it when we were a young couple traveling to the top half of the world in winter.
Mr Eyes got another coat and this one has been hibernating in the attic for a few years. Now our son has grown up and is in need of a man-sized coat. So I bought it down as a standby for him to use until he finds a coat he likes for himself.
This coat has been around the world a few times. I found three American dollars in the pocket. You could get a damn fine breakfast in a New York diner for that last century.
