Marischal College, Aberdeen

Up in Aberdeen for the weekend to attend the Great Big Dance Show in which Daughter#2 will be performing tomorrow night.

The city centre was very busy with Friday traffic as we left the bus station, so this glimpse of the beautiful granite building was blipped from the moving car. Look at that blue sky!

Marischal College is still owned by Aberdeen University, but is currently leased to Aberdeen City Council as its headquarters. Of all the fine granite buildings in Aberdeen, this is my favourite!
