More gardens

Final day in Galloway. We headed first for Kirkcudbright and a visit to Broughton House and garden, once the home of the artist E.A. Hornel. The garden planting was lush and green. Volunteers were hard at work in the borders as we walked around.

Later, after coffee and cake we stopped at Drumlanrig Castle on the way back up the road. All in all a good short break.
