Has to be done.....

.....I had my blip sorted (last extra)...but the social media was buzzing with Aurora and there had been some really fabulous photos taken locally at 6am this morning that I saw on Facebook.
The talk was that it would be good again tonight, just after dusk.  We went around the road just a bit to get a better vantage point.  It was amazing, and easily seen with the naked eye.  I'm no Aurora photographer, don't have the right gear.... but I'm happy with mine, they might be a bit dark, as preparing images at night isn't my favourite thing.  ....but will have to do.
An exciting and memorabe experience.
