Lady's Mantle

So I was in the garden messing about with the zoom on my iPhone trying to get a good picture of the flowers, and did not really notice the insect on the flower.

I think it might be a horse fly, certainly not a favoured insect but it made a good picture and made me feel a bit of connection to all the amazing wildlife photographers out there.

Lady's Mantle grows like a weed in our garden and
has a lovely acid green zip. So lucky some of the nicest plants need minimal attention.
