Beach Photoshoot After Dinner

There is a pebble beach a short stroll from the hotel and it was perfect for a photoshoot at dusk after dinner. Orla had a great time throwing pebbles into the sea and was very good when it came to posing because she wanted a nice one for Mum to see. Turkey is just about visible in the distance.

We had lots of fun in the pool again, and Orla was happy to see her friend Ellie in the kids pool. Orla still says no when I encourage her to go down the slide and says she's run out of braveness. I asked her what can fill her braveness up again and of course the answer was ice cream. After three scoops she said she was only half full. Whilst she didn't go on the slide she did start swimming with just a rubber ring and was happy to go in the big pool with it.

Earlier, back in the room, she was saying she wanted to be mean and stop everyone having fun. The best way to do that would be to build a giant lobster to put in the pool and have it eat everyone up. She then proceeded to pretend to build a giant lobster, including a coat of orange paint.

We had such a nice time on the beach that I forgot about the kids disco and when we got back to the hotel Orla was straight up there on the stage but unfortunately it was the last dance. She was very upset but cheered up when I explained there was one every night. She's got loads to look forward to tomorrow.
