Propping up

These are what will be holding up my house after the front wall is pulled down on Monday. The wall to the left of this photo is the new stud wall that went up today. It's just there to protect the rest of the house from dust and keep it dry and secure.

We had some good news today which is that the building work should take less time than we had feared, and we may be back in in September rather than October.

We spent the day clearing more stuff out. It's pretty much all done now. We are seventy different kinds of exhausted but we've had some curry and beer and the weekend is going to be sunny so we should get some time to relax. We feel like we could do with some industrial propping up ourselves.
