Jack

Jack in the Hedge - as I’ve always known it. I was delighted to find it in our garden. Some people may not welcome it - we do.

This morning
We would normally avoid Appleby on a Saturday, especially at this time of year, but Covid vaccine called. It was very busy for all sorts of reasons, so we parked up and walked through to the Medical Centre. Waiting outside because we dare not go in any earlier than our 11.02 and 11.05 appointments, this guy came along - “I wouldn’t hang about round here,” he said, “they stick things in you.” I thought that was quite funny.

This evening
After a lovely meal outside we, for the first time, gave up on Eurovision and watched instead two episodes of ‘Race Around the World’ - we loved seeing them arrive in Chiang Mai, Thailand, a place we spent almost a week on our way to New Zealand years ago. It certainly brought back memories of the many adventures we had there. What a great programme it is.
