Beaches of Coll

Today is one of those days when I can’t choose which photos to blip, too many beautiful views. We hired a couple of e-bikes this morning from the Community Centre and set off, our first time on e-bikes and probably the first time in around 20 years that I have cycled at all, I may not be able to walk tomorrow! Definitely worth it though to get to a couple of stunning sandy beaches. Great weather again, warm and sunny with a breeze to keep us cool. 
We saw loads of wildlife, seals (extra 2), hares running out of our way, herons, lapwings, ringed plover, swifts, and heard a couple of corncrake very close to us but couldn’t spot them at all. At one point we heard corncrakes, skylarks and cuckoos, all at the same time, just wonderful!
