This is Penguin Country!

Jerry gave a talk about working for the British Antarctic Survey as part of the Windermere Science Festival today.  It's a very nice small festival at the Jetty Museum, titled 'Whoosh, bang, pop!' with lots of families making model boats, rafts, learning about materials etc.  It even had a carnival band who arrived by boat, which quite made my day!
